Rachel and I decided to get our nails done professionally (well, as professionally as the Pro Nails in the mall can do!). This was our first time and we giggled at each other as we realized that we had trouble understanding the workers' English and didn't know what to do with our fingers and toes.
We also laughed as we noticed that we were the least-tattooed and most fully dressed of the Monday evening clients. If we ever do this again, we may have to wear toe rings to better fit in with the crowd!
Hmmm... I wonder if they were speaking Mandarin Chinese? If so, I may call on my friend Mrs. Bickerson's daughter to help sort it all out.
