My friend called tonight and told me about her five-year-old son's imaginary friend, Bob. Yesterday her son and older daughter were arguing loudly about who should buckle Bob's seatbelt. To diffuse the situation, my friend's husband asked how Bob liked church that morning.
Laughter rang out as her little boy explained that Bob didn't get to go to church because nobody let him out of the van! His big sister then triumphantly rationalized that she did not need to buckle Bob's seatbelt because it must have been on the whole time since Bob never left the van.
